The Funspeed looks like it will be a fun boat

We all have this problem - we have to buy boats. This one is another european design made by Hydro & Marine.

Some time ago and some WEB pages ago, I saw a boat made by a german modeller for electric power. It was a one step mono hull for 7 cells and in the pictures the boat looked really nice.

Hydro & Marine makes this boat and it's called the Funspeed. I couldn't resist and I'm waiting for one of these to arrive.

It will run with an exotic german motor - Lehner 2718/6 - with 7 cells direct drive.

These are the shafts machined from stock, with ball bearings. The motor is attached to the structure that holds the coupler.

All the hardware is made by Hydro & Marine and it looks good! The wedge rudder has the water pickup tube.
